I31? 1T ORDAINED BY THE VII,I,AGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 9-19, Officers' Quorum; Compensation, of Article II, Advisory Board, of Chapter 9,
Country Club, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 9-19. Officers' quorum; compensation.
At the first organizational meeting of the board, the members shall elect a chairman,
vice chairman and secretary from among its members. Subsequent to the initial
organization meeting where officers are elected, the members shall elect the officers from
among its members at the first regular meeting in May of each year. The presence of four
(4) members shall constitute a quorum and motions shall be approved by a majority of
members present. The members shall serve without compensation."
Section 2. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is for any reason
held by a Court to be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holding shall not affect the remainder of
this Ordinance.
Section 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
