B}i 17' OKDAINED 13Y THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, hI,OR1DA: Section ] . Section 2-1, Committee and Boards, of Article I of Chapter 2, Administration, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village, is hereby amended by adding a Subsection (d) thereto and to read as follows: "(d) Committees and Boards of the Village shall hold all meetings at Village Hall. All meetings shall be open to members of the public." Section 2. Section 2-154, Oaths of office; meetings; quorum of Division 3, Pension and Certain other 13enetits for General Employees, of Article V, Pension and Retirement Systems, of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2-154. Oaths of office; meetings; quorum. Before entering upon their duties as members of the board, each member shall take and subscribe to the oath of office required by the village charter, which oath shall be Bled with the village clerk. The board shall meet as often as necessary or upon the call of the chairman or any member thereof or upon request of the village clerk. All board meetings shall be held • at Village Hall. A majority of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of any business. Notice of meetings shall be given to council and the public at least seven (7) days in advance." Section 3. Subsection 3(d), Board meetings, of Section 2-164, Board of trustees -- Generally, of • llivisirnt 4, Pension and certain other benefits for fire and police employees, of Article V, Pension and Retirement Systems, of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village, is hereby amended to read as follows: "(d) Board meetings. The board shall meet at least quarterly each year. All board meetings shall be held at Village Hall. At any meeting of the board, three (3) trustees shall constitute a quorum. Any and all acts and decisions shall be by at least three (3) members of the board; however, no trustee shall take part in any action in connection with his or her own participation in the plan, and no unfair discrimination shall be shown to any individual participating in the plan." Section 4. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is for any reason held b}' a Court to be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holding shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance. Section 5. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6.
