AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FY 2006107 COMPREHENSIVE
PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN AS ADOPTED IN THE VILLAGE BUDGET
TO RECLASSIFY ONE LIBRARY POSITION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to amend the Village's Comprehensive Pay and
Classification Plan to reclassify one Librarian I position to a Library Assistant III to better reflect
the duties and education required for the position; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby approves the amendment to the Fiscal Year 2006/07
Comprehensive Pay and Classification Plan to delete one (1) "Librarian I" position, pay grade 23
and to add one (1) "Library Assistant III" position, pay grade 22 at the North Palm Beach Library.
Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary and
appropriate actions to effect this change.
• Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
