' AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGULATING THE PROXIMITY OF GASOLINE
OR OIL FILLING STATIONS TO CERTAIN STRUCTURES OR TO OTHER SUCH FILLING
STATIONS, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF AND FOA OTHEIA PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, as follows:
• Section 1. Definitions -For the purpose of this ordinance;
the term "gasoline and oil f9_lling station or service station" shall in-
clude and refer to any place of business in the Village of North Palm
Beach where gasoline, kerosene, motor oils, greases or other fuels or
accessories in any manner pertaining to automobiles or motor vehicles
are.~tored or placed on sale. -
Section 2. That no gasoline and oil filling station and no
service station shall be erected or located within 500 feet of any
church, hospital, school or other such institution, where large numbers.
' of pedestrians congregate, nor within 1,000 feet of the loaction in said
Village of another gasoline and .oil filling station or service station.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage-
and approval according to law.

1959..
PASSED AND ADOPTED on second and final reading this 13th day of
October, 1959.
