AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALRd BEACH, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE, BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION C-lA, LIMITED COPhMERCIAL DISTRICT, AND RECLASSIFYING SAID
PROPERTY AS R-2, RULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; BY REMOVING CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION R-1, SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT,
AND RECLASSIFYLVG SAID PROPERTY AS R-2, MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT;
BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM ZONING CLASSIFICATION A-1, SINGLE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT AND RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS C-lA, LIMITED CONIl~IERCIAL
DISTRICT; BY AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO REFLECT SAID
ZONING CHANGES ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP; BY REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to authority vested in _
it_under Section 14, of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the comprehensive
zoning ordinance of said Village, has deemed it desirable, necessary and to
the best interest of the public welfare to reclassify certaih propert}+ within
the Village .with respect to zoning or use classification; and
WHEREAS, public hearings relative to said proposed zoning
changes were duly held following publication of the date and purpose of said
hearings as prescribed by law, novv therefore-
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALR4 BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance entitled "A COMPREHENSIVE ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALP.4 BEACH, FLORIDA, FO?~ TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES:
REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF
YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF POPULATION AND
FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES
THEREOF AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS: DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED:
ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT AND
AMENDMENT THEREOF AND 'PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS."
be and the same is hereby amended in the following respects, to-wit: _
(a) The following described property is hereby removed from
the zoning classification C-lA, Limited Commercial District, to-wit:
The West 125 feet of Tract "A", Block 40, Village
of North Palm Beach, Plat No. 6, according to the
Plat thereof on file in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County,
Florida, recorded in Plat Book 26 at page 11. --

Said property shall henceforth be zoned and classified as R-2, Multiple Family
Dwelling District.
' (b) The following described property is herekay removed from
zoning classification R-l, Single Family Dwelling District, to-wit: ___
All of Tract "A", Block 40, Village of North Palm _

_
Beach, Plat No. 6, less the westerly 125 feet
thereof, according to the plat thereof on file _
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, recorded _
' in Plat Book 26 at page 11.
Said property shall henceforth be zoned and classified as R-2, Mulitple
Family Dwelling District.
(c) The following described property is hereby removed from
the zoning classification R-l, Single Family Dwelling District, to-wit:

The eeaterly 275 feet of Lots 1-5 inclusive, Block
54, Village of North Palm Beach, Plat No. 6,
according to the plat thereof on file in the office __;
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm ---
Beach County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book 26, _
page 12, said property being otherwise described as
that portion of the said Lots 1-5 not presently ---
zoned C-lA, Limited Commercial District.
Said property shall henceforth be zoned and calssified as C-lA, Limited --
Commercial District.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to reflect upon the official zoning map, by hatching or other
appropriate means of designation, the changes in zoning classification effected
uncer this amending ordinance.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. _
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its - --
passage and approval as provided by law.
