No.20 Prescribing Zoning or Use Classifications for Annexed LandsPage 13 ~ •'~ L - ORDINANCE x!39 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VT_fdAGE OF NORTH PAEAI,BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FIARIDA, AMETdDING ORDINANCE ~0, BEING 'i'F3E COMPREHENSIVE ZONIIQG ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE, BY PRESCRIBING ZONING OR USE CLASSL~'ICATIONS FOR CERTAIN LANDS RECENTLY ANNE70;D TO THE V.Cf~T~AGE, AND BY DIRECTING T~ VILLAGE MANAGER TO APPROPRIATELY REFLEC^s SUCH ADDITIONAL DESIGNATIONS UPON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP. ~-x- ~ ~ ' ti~7$~RFA.4, certain lands were annexed and incorporated into the territorial limits of the Village upon enactment of Ordinance X30 of said Village, said land being the same as that reflected upon and enecmpassed by Village of North Palm Beach Plat ~, said Plat being of record in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, i.n Plat Book 25 at pages 229 and 230; and WHEREAS, the Village Council pursuant to the authority vested iu it under Section 14 of Qrdinance ~20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, has deemed it essential and necessary to amend said Ordinance ~20 in the manner prescribed below in order to further the scheme of comprehensive zoning for said Village; and WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amendments was duly held pursuant to publication of the date and purpose of said bearing as prescribed by law; now therefore BE IT 0'~AT~ BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows Section 1. That Ordinance X20 entitled "A ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES S,fITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORTIIA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES: REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGRT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSI'iY AND OF POPULA- TION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHII4G THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AMID ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS: DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USID: ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF ADJOS7MENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEE~~IT AND AMENDMENT THERI~F AND PRESCRIDIP7G PENALTIES FOR • THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS." be and the same is hereby amended in the following respects, t0-Wit: (a) A11 land included within the Village of North Palm Beach Plat ~+ with the exception of the lots set forth under "b" below, shall henceforth be c].assi- ' Pied and designated as R-l, Single Family Dwelling District. (b) The following properties shall henceforth be elassified and designated as R-2, Multiple Family Dwelling District, to-wit: Lots 1-g inclusive, ffiock E Lots 24-32 inclusive, Block D Lots 1 and 25, ffiock C Iots 1. and 2f3, Block B Ent 1, ffiock A Lot 1, ffiock D Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to conform the official zoningmap in such manner that the zoning changes prescribed herein shall be appropriately reflected thereon.
