IIE IT ORDAINID BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That it is hereby found and declared to be expedient to the preservation of
the public health, welfare and beautification of the Village of North Valm teach, that all platted
1-0ts within the Village, lying adjacent to or abutting upon ax~y public street or thoroughfare, be
cleared and cleaned of all brush, weeds, dead and dying trees, stumps, roots, obnoxious gro°ath,
filth, garbage, trash and debris.
Section 2. That all of said property above described sha11 be cleared and cleaned of
garbage and trash, debris or all other material described above, be removed or othersr3.se disposed
of in order that the public health, safety and we]s"are of the Village may be insured to each and
every citizen of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. That the Village NP„nager of the Village of North Palm Beach be and he is

hereby authorized to proceed with said work with aZ1 due and convenient expedience; that said
Lianager is authorized to contract for said, work in the name of the Village.
Section 4. That the Vi].l.age P~~nager of the Village of North Pa7sa Beach is forthwith

authorized, directed and empowered to publish the following notice setting forth the adoption of
this ordinance iri the Palm Beach Post once each week for two (2) consecutive weeks, and by posting
a copy of said notice at the door of the Village Hall of said Village, to-wit:
Tb all persons, firms, associations or corporations holding property within the Village
of North Pa]m Beach, Florida; notice is hereby given that oa the day of ,
1958, at a regular session of the Village Council of the V311age of North Palm Beach, an ordinance
was adopted by the said Council directing the Village Manager to clear or clean or cause to_be
cleared and cleaned all platted lots wi`whin the limits of said Village, lying adjacent to or
abutting upon any public street or thoroughflare, by removing therefrom all brush, weeds, dead and
dying trees, stumps, roots, obnoxious growth, filth, garbage, or debris. Such clearing shall be
under the supervision of the Village Manager and in compliance with the ordinance of the Village
o~ North Palm Beach pertain thereto.

Section 5. Tizat upon completion of said, work the Village of North Palm Beach shall pay
the expenses of same out of any funds of the Village available for that purpose, and the Village
Council shaL1 assess the cost of all said crork or such part or portions thereof as it may determine

upon the property cleared and cleaned, and the Village sha11 have a lien therefor against each. and __
every pastel o£ land so cleared, cleaned 'and benefited thereby.
