AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COIINCIL OF NGRTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN
LANDS.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows:
' "Upon petition of the owner or owners of any lands adjoining or within two
(2) miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality, to annex
such lands by ordinance to the territorial limits of the municipality hereby
established. Whenever any land shall be annexed to the municipality hereby
established, upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof and in accord-
ance with the power and authority hereby given, then such land so annexed
shall be and become apart of the municipality hereby established with the
same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated
• in the territorial boundaries thereof".

WHEREAS, the following petition has beer_ received by the Village Council:

Florida
Sirs:
As owners of the below described land, we hereby petition this land area
be annexed to the territorial limits of North Palm Beach:
The East One-half (E 1/2) of the Northeast One-quarter
(NE 1/4} of the Southwest One-quarter (SW 1/4) of the
Northeast One-quarter {NE 1/4} of Section 8, Township
42 South, Range 43 East.

' Section 1. The following Lsnds in Palm Beach County, Florida, be and they are
hereby annexed to the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
The East One-half (E 1/2) o:C the Northeast One-quarter (NE 1/4} of the
Southwest One-quarter (SW 1,/4) of the Northeast One-quarter (NE 1/4) of
Section 8, Township 42 Soutli, Range 43 East.
Section 2. Such lands shall hereafter be apart of the municipality of North Palm
' Beach with the same force and effect as though the same had been original]y incorporated
in the Village territorial boundaries.
