AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE 2006-2007 NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY
CLUB BUDGET FEE FOR NON-PROFIT GROUP PLAY AT FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS
($55.00); LIMITING NON-PROFIT GROUP PLAY TO THE TIMES OF THE CLUB'S
SUMMERTIME "AFTERNOON SPECIAL" PLAY; AUTHORIZING THE
ADMINISTRATION TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHERAS, at the request of Village Administration and in accordance with the recommendation
of the Country Club Advisory Board, the Village Council wishes to establish the Country Club
Golf Fees for non-profit group play and authorize the establishment of certain administrative
procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Ordinance is in the best
interests of the public health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends the 2006-2007 Country Club Enterprise Fund
Budget, as adopted by Ordinance No. 2006-17 (the Village Budget Ordinance), to implement
Golf Course greens fees of thirty-six dollars ($36.00) and a cart fee of nineteen dollars ($19.00),
for a total fee offifty-five dollars ($55.00) for non-profit group play special events. The total fee
of $55.00 shall include a five dollar ($5.00) golf shop credit.
Section 3. All requests for non-profit group play shall be submitted to the Country Club
Director and are subject to approval or rejection by the Country Club Advisory Board. These
events shall commence during the Country Club's summertime "afternoon special" play.
Section 4. The Village Administration shall establish administrative procedures providing
for the receipt of progressive deposits on all approved group events at the Golf Club and provide
for forfeiture of deposits if cancellation occurs less than ten (10) days before the scheduled event.
Section 5. The Village Administration is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary
and appropriate actions to effect the changes authorized in this Ordinance.
Section 6. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 7. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
