AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, BEING THE COMPREHENSIPE ZONING-ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE BY
REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM "R-2", MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND RECLASSI-
FYING SAID PROPERTY AS 'TR-1", SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; BY REMOVING CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM "C-lA'~, LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY
AS "R-2", MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; AND BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
"C-lA'r, LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. AND RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS "C-1", NEIGH-
BORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, The Village Council, pursuant to authority vested in it under Section
]14, of Ordinance No. 20, the same being to comprehensive zoning ordinance o£ said
Village, has deemed it desirable, necessary and to the best interest of the public
welfare to reclassify certain property within the Village with respect to zoning or
use classification; and
WHEREAS, public hearings relative to said proposed zoning changes were duly
held following publication of the date and purpose of said hearings as prescribed by
law, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance entitled "A
ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES; REGULATING THE LOCATION,
HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES,
THE DENSITY AND DISTRI$UTION OF POPULATION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIA (6)
DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS;
DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED; ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE

PROVISIONS." and the same is hereby amended in the following respects, to-wit:
(a) The following described parcels of property are hereby removed from
"R-2", Multiple Family Dwelling District, to-wit:
Parcel No. 1 - Lots 17 to 33 inclusive, Block 1, Country
Club Addition to the Village o£ North Palm Beach, Palm
Beach County, Florida, according to the plat thereof on
file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in
and for Palm Beach County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book
25 at page 131.
Parcel No. 2 - Lots 1 to 16 inclusive, Block 9A, Village
0 orth a m Beach Plat #1, according to the plat there-
of on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
in and for Palm Beach County, recorded in Plat Book 2!t at
page 205. _
Parcel No. 3 - All that certain property in Section 16,
ownship S, flange 43 E, designated on the official
zoning map as "R-2", Multiple Family Dwelling District
which falls within that area bounded on the North and
West by Anchorage Drive, on the South by Lighthouse Drive
and on the East by Eastwind Drive.

Said parcels shall henceforth be zoned and classified as "R-1", Single Family Dwell-
ing District.
(b) The following described property is hereby removed from "C-lA",
' Limited Commercial District, to-wits
Lots 1 to 9 inclusive, Replat of Block 8, Village of North Palm Beach,
Plat #1, according to the plat thereof on file in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in and £or Palm Beach County, Florida,
recorded in Plat Book 25 at page 103.
Said property shall henceforth be zoned and classified as "R-2", Multiple Family Dwell-

' ing District.
(c) The following described property is hereby removed from "C-lA",
Limited Commercial District, to-wit:
All that certain property in Section 9, Township 1t2 South, Range
!~2 East, bounded on the North by the southerly right-of-way line
of Monet Road, on the West and Southwest by the easterly right-of-
• way line of the Intracoastal Waterway; and on the East by the
westerly right-of-way line of State Road No. 5 {U. S. Highway No. 1).
Said property shall henceforth be zoned and classified as "C-1", Neighborhood Com-
mercial District.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to reflect
upon the official zoning map, by hatching or other appropriate means o£ designation, the
changes in zoning classification effected under this amending ordinance.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section !~. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval
as provided by law,
