AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COiTNCII, OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNERING CERTAIN
LANDS.

WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows:
' "Upon petition of the owner or owners of any lands adjoining or within
two (2) miles of the territorials boundaries of said municipality, to
annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial limits of the munici-
pality hereby established. Whenever any land shall be annexed to the
municipality hereby established, upon the petition of the owner or
owners thereof and in accordance with the power and authority hereby
given, then such land sa annexed shall be and become apart. of the
municipality hereby established with the same force and effect as though
• the same had been originally incorporated in the territorial boundaries
thereof"
and
WHEREAS, the following petition has been received by the Village Council:

As owners o£ the below described land, we hereby petition this land area be
annexed to the territorial limits of North Palm Beach:
All o£ the Northwest Quarter, Section 17, Township
!~2 South, Range la3 East, except the Southeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and
except the East '781 feet of the South 390.5 feet of
that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter lying West of the right-of-way of the PROS-
PERITY FARMS ROAD and except the East 781 feet o£ the
North 390.5 feet of that part of the Southeast Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter lying West of the right-of-
way of PROSPERIT't FARMS ROAD and except that par£ of
the Northwest Quarter lying South of the Northerly
right-of-way line of the Earman River Canal, as in Deed
Book 101[7, page 359, and except a parcel sold to
Lucille Clark, as in Deed Book 1081[, page 307, as cor-
rected in Deed Book 1090, page 509, as corrected in -
Deed Book 1101[, page 6L5 and except the East 33 feet
of the Northwest Quarter deed to Palm Beach County,
Florida, as in Deed Book 877, page 73.

• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following lands in Palm Beach County, Florida, be and they are
hereby annexes to the village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
' All of the Northwest Quarter, Section 17, Township !t2 South, Range !t3
East, except the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter and except the East 781 feet of the South 390.$ feet
of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter lying
West of the right-of-way of the PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD and except the
East 781 feet of the North 390.5 feet of that part of the Southeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter lying West of the right-of-way o£
' PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD and except that part of the Northwest Quarter
lying South of the Northerly right-of-way line of the Earman River
Canal, as in Deed Book 1077, page 359, and except a parcel sold to
Lucille Clark, as in Deed Book 10871, page 307, as corrected in Deed
Book 1090, page 509, as corrected in Deed Book I101t, page 61.5 and
except the East 33 feet of the Northwest Quarter deed to Palm Beach
County, Florida, as in Deed Book 877, page 73.
Section 2. Such lands shall hereafter be a part of the municipality of North
Palm Beach with the same force and effect as though the same had been original],y incor-
porated in the Village territorial boundaries.
