AId ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, MAKING
IT TiNLAWFUL TO ERECT CERTAIN STRUCTURES WITHIN CERTAIN DISTANCES OF THE
WATER BOUNDARIES OF LOTS IN SAID VILLAGE FACING CORAL, BLUE OR AZURE
LAGOONS; BIAKING IT UYJLbWFUL TO DEPOSIT FILL IN SAID LAGOONS; PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.

WHEREAS, upon Plat No. 1 of North Palm Beach, recorded in Plat
Book 24, pages 202 to 206, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida,
three lagoons are shown thereon as Coral Lagoon, Blue Lagoon, and Azure
• Lagoon; and
WHEREAS, it is provided in Paragraph 3 of that certain offer to
dedicate recorded in Official Record Book 6, page 393, Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida
"3. The owners of lots abutting on the said waterway
and the owners of lots abutting on said lagoons shall
have the right to erect, build, install or construct
tie poles, dolphins, mooring piles, docks and piers
in the waters of said waterway and lagoons abutting --
their respective lots; PROVIDED, that no dolphin,
mooring pile or tie pole shall be placed more-than
20 feet beyond the bulkhead and no dock or. pier shall
' extend more than 15 feet beyond the bulkhead. And
PROVIDED FURTHER, that no boat canal or other water-
way shall be dug or excavated into any of the water- __
front lots and no lot or parcel shall be increased
in size by filling in the waters on which it abuts.
The grantee is hereby granted the full right to
enforce, by ordinance or otherwise, the provisos con-
tained in this paragraph."
which such offer was accepted by Resolution of the Village Council of the
Village of North Palm Beach, appearing in Official Record Book 6, page 396,
Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF IZORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. It shall be .unlawful for any person to erect buildings,
install or construct tie poles, dolphins, mooring poles in the waters of Coral,
Blue or Azure Lagoons, aforesaid, more than twenty (20) feet waterward of the
water boundaries of .the lots abutting said lagoons, or to erect, build, install
or construct any docks or piers more than fifteen (15) feet oraterward of the
water boundaries of the lots abutting said lagoons.
' Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to excavate or dig
upon any lot fronting upon such lagoons, any boat canal or waterway connecting
said lot with lagoons.

Section 3, It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit fill
in said lagoons or to increase the size of lots fronting thereon by depositing
thereon fill obtained from the bottom of said lagoons or elsewhere.
Section 4. Any person who shall be convicted of violating this
ordinance shall pay a fine of Five hundred Dollars 0500.00) or shall be
imprisoned for sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
