AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFY]NG AND
CONFIRMING ORDINANCE #16 OF SAID VILLAGE, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
BULKHEAD LINE WITHIN SUCH TOW21 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, heretofore Ordinance No. 16, entitled as follows:

ING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BULKHEAD LINES WITHIN SUCH WATERS; REGULATING DREDG-
. 1NG AND FILLING OPERATIONS WITH RESPECT TO SAID BUL'cff-lEAD LINES; PROHIBITING THE
ERECTION OF CERTAIN STRUCTURES BEYOND SAID BULKHEAD LINES; PROVD1ldG FOR THE SUB-
MISSION OF APPLICATIONS PRIOR TO THE CONAIEIdCEMENT OF FILLING OR DREDGING OPERATIONS
AND FOR THE FEES TO BE PAD I1\" CONNECTION THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT
OF THE PROVISTONS OF THIS ORDINANCE A.ND FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF."
was heretofore enacted; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto there was enacted by the Florida State
Legislature at its 1957 regular session House Bill No. 1l~19, Laws of Florida,
Special Acts of 1957, and Chapter 57-362, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, both
' relating to the establishment of bulkhead lines in tidal waters and regulating
the building up of land by Filling, dredging, etc., and authorizing municipalities
to establish such bulkhead lines after complying with a certain procedure set
forth therein; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing has heretofore been held in accordance with the
procedure set Forth i.n such statutes and due consideratign having been given. to
the comments, suggestions and opinions rendered at such public hearing.
NC6d THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, That Ordinance No. 16 of the Village of North Palm Beach, the
same being an ordinance entitled as follows:
