A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THAT THE ENTIRE
INTERIOR AREA OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH LIBRARY SHALL NOT
CONTAIN A DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In accordance with Florida State Statute
386, Section 386.204, the Village Council determines
that there shall be no designated smoking areas within
the entire interior area of the Village Library.
Section 2. The purpose of this resolution is to protect
the public health, comfort, and. the environment by
providing a public library that is reasonably free from
tobacco smoke.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
