A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
. BRACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE PALM BEACH COUNTY RECREATIONAL AND
CULTURAL FACILITIES PROJECTS $25,000,000 BOND REFERENDUM ON TH1;
MARCH 9, 1999 BALLOT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHIiREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, has
ordered that a bond referendum be held in the County on the 9th day of March, 1999, to
determine whether or not there shall be issued the Bonds of the County in the aggregate principal
amount of not exceeding $25,000,000 for purpose of financing the acquisition and construction
of all or a portion of, and/or capital improvements to, certain recreational and cultural facilities
within the County and related costs incidental thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach is ever cognizant
of the need for recreational and cultural facilities for the residents of North Palm Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach recognizes the
importance of allocating sufficient funds in its annual budget process to provide for these
facilities; and
WHEREAS, all of the residents of the Village of North Palm Beach will benefit from the
funding provided by this bond issue which will enhance the quality of life in the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF 7'Hii

Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida hereby
supports the Palm Beach County Recreational and Cultural Facilities Projects $25,000,000 bond
referendum on March 9, 1999, with funds to be distributed for new facilities in all communities,
especially in North Palm Beach.
Section 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to send copies of this Resolution to the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida; the Palm Beach County league
of Cities, Inc.; and all municipalities in Palm Beach County.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 11th DAY OF FEBRUARY , 1999.
