WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION WEEK
WHEREAS, the Greater Palm Beach, Chapter 87 has distinguished itself for 57 years
as the voice of women in construction in SE Florida; and
WHEREAS, the work done by the Greater Palm Beach, Chapter 87 has benefited SE
Florida through community development and educational programs; and
WHEREAS, the Greater Palm Beach, Chapter 87 has unceasingly promoted the
employment and advance of women in the construction industry; and
WHEREAS, the construction community, represented by Greater Palm Beach, Chapter
87, has been a driving force in fostering community development through renovation
and beautification projects; promotion of skilled trades careers; and a positive vision of
the future; and 11
WHEREAS, the Greater Palm Beach, Chapter 87 has sought to achieve successful
results for SE Florida and surrounding areas in a cooperative spirit with other
organizations.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Deborah Searcy, by virtue of the authority vested in me as
Mayor of the Village of North Palm Beach, do hereby proclaim March 5 -11, 2023 as:
WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION WEEK
in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida. I hereby recognize the Greater Palm
Beach, Chapter 87 and its many dedicated volunteers for its steadfast work on behalf
and support of women in construction and encourage our citizens to congratulate the
organization on its many accomplishments.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the
Village of North Palm Beach to be affixed this 15th day of February, 2023.
