RESOLUTION NO. 50-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING VILLAGE MANAGER,
DENNIS W. KELLY, TO SERVE AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH ON THE BOARD OF SEACOAST
UTILITY AUTHORITY; PROVIDING THAT THE COMPENSATION
DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD FOR SUCH REPRESENTATIVE SHALL BE
PAYABLE TO THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH; AND, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the board of Seacoast Utility Authority by reason
• of the tragic and untimely death of Raymond J. Howland who served as the Village's
representative on the board; and,
WHEREAS, paragraph 2C of the Interlocal Agreement establishing the Seacoast
Utility Authority provides that board members shall serve, unless earlier removed, terms
of four (4) years duration or until such time as the authority board's member's replacement
has been appointed.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
ection I. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does
hereby appoint the Village Manager, Dennis W. Kelly, to serve as the representative of
• the Village of North Palm Beach on the board of Seacoast Utility Authority.
ction 2. ~ The Village Manager, Dennis W. Kelly, shall serve as the Village's

representative to Seacoast Utility Authority until such time as a replacement has been
appointed by the Village Council.
Section 3. Compensation designated by the Board for the Village's
representative shall be payable to the Village of North Palm Beach.
ction 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
