RESOLUTION N0. 44-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A POLICY AS TO THE
AUTHORITY OF THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO SIGN CONTRACTS ON
BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, does hereby authorize the Village Manager to sign contracts on behalf
of the Village that involve expenditures for goods and services that are line
items within the Village budget and do not exceed Five Thousand ($5,000.00)
. Dollars.
Section 2. Prior to execution of contracts, the Village Manager
shall first comply with the purchasing regulations adopted by the Village Council
and have the contracts reviewed by the Village Attorney for legal sufficiency.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
