A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING AN
INCREASE IN PRESENT IMPACT FEES BEING LEVIED ON NEW
CONSTRUCTION FOR USE IN SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION AND
OPERATION; DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO FURNISH A
CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE SCHOOL
BOARD OF PALM BEACH COUNTY; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the School Board of Palm Beach County estimates that
the current impact fees levied on new construction for use in
school construction and operation covers only one-half of the
needed cost; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm
• Beach is desirous of recommending an increase in such impact fees
for purposes of providing needed funds for school construction and
operation.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. 't'he Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby support an increase in present
impact fees being levied on new construction for use in additional
school construction ancf operation.
Section__L_. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to
furnish a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County and the School Board of Palm
• Beach County and Palm !teach County Municipal League.
Section 3. 'fhls Resolution shall take effect immediately

upon its adoption.
