A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING AND SETTING FORTH A POLICY
FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS FROM
VILLAGE RESIDENTS AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE
FOR PURCHASE OF DESIGNATED FURNISHINGS,
FURNITURE, AND EQUIPMENT AND
CONTRIBUTIONS IN KIND FOR VARIOUS
PROJECTS OF THE VILLAGE; PROVIDING FOR
RECOGNITION OF VILLAGE RESIDENTS AND THE
PUBLIC AT LARGE WHO MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS
FOR THE DESIGNATED PROJECTS OF THE
VILLAGE; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
• WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that Village
residents and members of the public at large may be desirous of
contributing to the purchase of designated furniture, furnishings,
and equipment for Village construction projects; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council is desirous of formulating a
policy whereby Village residents and members of the public at large
can make monetary contributions and designate the contribution
toward the purchase of specified furnishings, furniture, a.nd
equipment for Village projects or purchase such tangible personal
property for Village projects.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
• Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby designate the following Village
projects for which Village residents and the public at large may
• designate specified furnishings, furniture, and equipment to be
purchased by the Village with their respective monetary
contributions or contributions in kind:
VILLAGE PROJECTS:
1. Anchorage Park Recreation Building: Interior and exterior
furnishings, furniture and equipment.
2. Community Center Recreation Fields: Concession ~tanr7
equipment.
3. Osborne Park Concession Stand Renovation: Equipment.
4. Public Safety Building: Interior furnishings, furniture,
communication, video equipment, medical equipment and fire/rescue
equipment.
• Section 2. The Village shall keep and maintain a written
listing in the office of the Village Clerk of the furniture.

referenced in Section 1 and the cost or projected cost thereof.
A1]. contributors shall have the right to select in writing the
furniture, furnishings, or equipment of a Village project for which
the monetary contribution shall be made, and such contribution
shall only be utilized for the designated purpose. Contributors
shall have the right to purchase furniture, furnishings and
equipment from the written listing of the Village for a designated
Village project.
Section 3. The Village Council shall acknowledge all
monetary contributions and contributions in kind from Village
• residents and the public at large and shall place a certificate,
plaque or other permanent recognition at the site when the Village

Council deems it to be appropriate.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
