RESOLUTION NO. 36-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING THE VILLAGE
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COORDINATING
COUNCIL UNDER THE NORTHERN AREA
MUTUAL AID CONSORTIUM/POLICE
AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY THE
VILLAGE, VARIOUS OTHER
MUNICIPALITIES AND THE PALM BEACH
COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD; AND, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach has entered into
a Northern Area Mutual Aid Consortium Agreement with various other
• municipalities and the Palm Beach County School Board:
WHEREAS, the Northern Area Mutual Aid Consortium
Agreement creates a coordinating council to oversee and facilitate
the operation of the consortium and provides that each member shall
appoint one representative and one alternate representative who are
elected officials or management personnel of the member
jurisdiction to the coordinating council.
WHEREAS, the Village Council needs to fill the position
of representative formerly occupied by V.A. Marks, M.D.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby appoint David Norris
• as the Village Representative to the coordinating council
established under the Northern Area Mutual Aid Consortium/Police.
• Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
