MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1987
Present: Craig Mundt, Mayor
Tom Valente, Vice Mayor

Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Mayor Mundt called the Special Session to order at 7:00 p.m. All
members of the Council, the Village Manager and the Village Clerk
were present.
The purpose of this meeting is to constitute the Council as the
official General Election Canvassing Board for the purpose of
canvassing the vote of March 10, 1987 in accordance with Section
10-25 of the Village Code.
The Council inspected the computer print out sheets containing
the election returns, which had been certified by Jackie
Winchester, Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County.
The total count of ballots cast in the General Election of March
10, 1987, including absentee ballots, is 1,383. The results are
as follows:
' Village Councilman, Group 2
Immanuel Grinn received 297 votes
Craig Mundt received 1,030 votes
Village Councilman, Group 4
V. A. Marks Unopposed
Vice Mayor Valente moved that Resolution No. 9-87 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD
ON MARCH 10, 1987
be adopted. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Mays
and passed unanimously.
The Village Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Councilman
Craig Mundt and Councilman V. A. Marks who had been re-elected.
These oaths are in accordance with Section 2-41 of the Village
Code and shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
