B1D "A" AND ADDITIVE ALTERNATE BID "CC" OF BRANG COMPANY, INC. OF BOCA
BATON, FLORIDA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH
COMMUNITY CENTER BALL FIELDS AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURES IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,223,200.00 TO BE EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT NO. K8033-66200
(COMMUNITY CENTER RECREATION AREA -BUILDINGS).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Bid "A" and Additive Alternate Bid "CC" in the amount of $1,223,200.00,
of Brang Company, Inc. of Boca Raton, Florida, a copy of which is attached to this resolution,
• is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in accordance with its terms.
7'he appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this acceptance. The
monies are to be expended from Account No. K8033-66200 (Community Center Recreation
Area -Buildings).
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

2. ACCEPTANCE
This offer shall be open to acceptance and is irrevocable for ninety (90)
days from the Bid closing date.

Execute the Agreement within seven days of receipt of Notice of Award.
Furnish the required bonds within seven days of receipt of Notice of Award
in the form described in Supplementary Conditions.
Commence work within seven days after written Notice to Proceed.
If this Bid is accepted within the time stated, and we fall to commence
the Work or we fail to provide the required Bond(s), the Bid security shall
be forfeited as damages to the Owner by reason of our failure, limited in
amount to the lesser of the face value of the security deposit or the
difference between this Bid and the Bid upon which the Contract is
signed.
• In the event our Bid is not accepted within the time stated above, the
required security deposit shall be returned to the undersigned, in
accordance with the provisions of the Instructions to Bidder; unless a
mutually satisfactory arrangement is made for Its retention and validity for
an extended period of time.
3. CONTRACT TIME
BIDDER agrees that all of the construction will be substantially complete
within 294 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time
commences to run and completed and ready for final payment within
324 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences
to run.
