RESOLUTION NO. 07-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF PIERCE MANUFACTURING,
INC. OF APPLETON, WISCONSIN, FOR ONE 75 FOOT
QUINTUPLET FIRE APPARATUS, MODEL NO. DASH-S 75
FOOT HDL IN THE AMOUNT $446,235.00, A COPY OF
WHICH BID IS ATTACHED TO THIS RESOLUTION;
FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT NO. A5812-
66410 (CAPITAL-AUTOMOTIVE); PROVIDING THAT
PAYMENT IS ONLY TO BE MADE TO PIERCE
MANUFACTURING, INC. UPON APPROVAL OF THE
LEASE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
• FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby accept the bid of Pierce
Manufacturing, Inc. of Appleton, Wisconsin, for one 75 foot
Quintuplet Fire Apparatus, Model Dash-S 75 foot HDL in the amount
of $446,235.00, a copy of which bid is attached to this Resolution.
The monies are to be expended from Account Number A5812-66410
(Capital-Automotive).
Section 2. Payment of monies to Pierce Manufacturing,
Inc. shall only be made upon approval of the lease-purchase
agreement by the Village Council.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon
approval of a lease-purchase agreement.

EXCEPTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS
Page 56 Drawings
We are unable to supply a detailed engineering drawing due to time constraints. We have included
basic drawings showing compartmentation, cab, and pump module proposed. Complete approval
drawings will be supplied within 60 days after award. No construction or ordering of components
will begin until after complete customer approval of all prints and related documents.
Page Sc Air Dryer
We propose to furnish a Wabco System Saver 1000 air dryer in place of the Bendix AD9 air
dryer.
Page Sk Compartmentation
We comply with the compartmentation as specified. There will be a slight blister in the rear wall
of the left rear side compartments to enclose the left side outrigger controls.
Page So Gauges
Pump panel gauges will be Ashcroft non-liquid filled. These gauges do not meet NFPA guidelines
and will require a letter of waiver.
