A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF ULTIMATE POOLS, DAVIE, FLORIDA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$19,800.00 FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW REPLACEMENT HEATER
FOR THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB SWIMMING POOL; FUNDS TO BE
EXPENDED FROM L8051-66490 (POOL-MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT).
BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Ultimate Pools, Davie, Florida, a copy of which is attached to
this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in accordance
with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this
acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. L8051-66490 (Pool-Machinery
& Equipment).
. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. The nature of the work is to remove and dispose of the existing gas heater system and to
furnish and install a new gas heater and associated work to the North Palm Beach Country Club
Pool. The bidder is responsible for providing a cottgrlele installation including but not limited to
gas connections, cloctrical connections, plumbing connections, sR-up and [eating.
The new heater shall meet or exceed the following performance criteria:
Size - 4,000,000 BTU INPUT
Fuel -Natural Gas
] 00% Copper and Bronze Waterways
1"Diameter Finned Copper Tubes
By-Pass Pump
Dual Gas Valves
3" Liras - In and Out Water Pipes
Stainless Sleet Burners
2. The Contractor is responsible for visiting the site to verify condition of the existing facility.
Coordinate inspections with Mr. Thomas Hogarlh, Public Services Director (407) 626-0212.
3. Bid Bond and Payment and Ptxformance Bond not requ'ved.
4. Questions regarding the bid documents shall be dvected to Mr. Thomas Hogarth, Public
Services Director (407) 626-0212.
5. Schedule: Heater removal and replacement will take place between February 1, 1997 and
February 28, 1997.
6. Warranty: The contractor shall furnish the manufacturer's standard warranty on all
equipment furnished and warranty all labor and material a minimum of one year from date of fmal
acceptance.
7. The Contractor is responsible for layout and installation of all piping and equipment.
8. All work shall be in accordance with normal industry standards.
9. All work shall be performed in accordance with sll applicable codes and regulations. All
bidders shall hold an appropriate contractors license to perform the specified work.

PRICE SCHEDULE LUMP SUM CONTRACT
The undersigned, as bidder, does declare that no other parson other than the bidder herein named
has any interest in this proposal or in the contract to betaken, and it is made without any
connection with any person or persons making proposal for the same article, and is in all respects
fair and without collusion or fraud.
The undersigned further declares that he has carefully examined the specifications and is
thoroughly familiar with its provisions and with the quality, type and grade of material called for.
The undersigned further declares that he proposes to furnish the articles called for within specified
time set in this proposal. -
BIDDER ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF ADDENDUM # _ DATED
BIDDER AGREES TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH
