• A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF SELECT CONTRACTING, INC., RIVIERA BEACH, FLORIDA,
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW METAL BUILDING AS REPLACEMENT FOR THE
EXISTING GOLF CART STORAGE BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE BARN IN THE SUM
OF $125,400.00 FROM ACCOUNT L8045-66210 (CONSTRUCTION & MAJOR
RENOVATION-GOLF COURSE); PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Select Contracting, Inc., Riviera Beach, Florida, a copy of which
is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida,
in accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said
bidder of this acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. L8045-66210
(Construction & Major Renovation-Golf Course) in the amount of $125,400.00.
• Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 12TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1996.

The undersigned, as bidder, does declare that no other person other than the bidder herein named has any
interest in this proposal or in the contract to be taken, and is made without any connection with any person or
persons making proposal for the same artiile, and is in all respects fair and without collusion or fraud.
The undersigned further declares that he has carefully examined the Bidding Documents and is thoroughly
familiar with its provisions and with the quality, type and grade of material called for.
The undersigned further deilares that he proposes to furnish the artiiles called for within speciTied time set in this
proposal.
BIDDER AGREES TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS IN THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT PRICE.

The undersigned bidder further agrees that in case of failure on his part to execute the conlreil within ten (10)
' ~ consecutive calendar days of the date of written notice being given of the award of the contract, the check or bid
bond accompanying this bid and the monies payable thereon, shall be paid to the Owner as liquidated damages
for such failure; otherwise the bid security shall be retumed to the undersigned.
