INSTALLATION OF COMPUTER HARDWARE FOR COMPUTER AUTOMATION AT THE
NORTH PALM BEACH LIBRARY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,938.01; FUNDS TO BE
EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT NO. A7927-66000 (CAPITAL).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Data-Way, Inc., Jupiter, Florida, a copy of which is attached to

this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in accordance
with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this

The North Palm Beach Library is aoccpthtg bide on the installatioa of a 12 station
computer system, 11 of which wlll be Baked together using Windows 9S in a local area
network. Eleven new computers are to be purchased and installed, specifications for
which are outlined. Of the Eleven computers, one will be a server which wlll have two
dial in ports with modem. The Bbrary already has taw extant computers which will be
Joined to the It1N, plus nice of the new computers for a total of eleven slatioas running
from the server. One of the ten aeav computers will be for a stand alone CD-ROM
Database Computer.
Companies must have at least flue years experience in installing hardavarc and local
area uctaarorks.
Companies must have a Microsoft Windows 9S Ccrfailod Softaaurc EugIucer on
installation staff:
The oondull/raceway will already be in place for the local area nctaaork avhcn the L9N is
installed. CabBug will need to be pulled through the conduits to be attachod behveen
the server and other LAN computers.
