RESOLUTION N0. 47-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PALM BEACH COUNTY ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A", WHICH
AGREEMENT PROVIDES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM (HOME) ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE
MUNICIPALITY INCLUSIVE OF URBAN RENEWAL AND PUBLICLY
ASSISTED HOUSING; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE I7' RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
• FLORIDA:
Section I. The Village Council of the village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, does hereby approve the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the Board
of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida. attached as Exhibit "A",
which agreement provides for Implementation of Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) activities within
the municipality inclusive of urban renewal and publicly assisted housing.
Section 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are• hereby authorized and
directed to execute the Agreement with the Board of t'ounty Commissioners of
Palm Beach County, Florida, set forth in Exhibit "A" for and on behalf of the
Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
