1996-030 CClub Restaurant Lease Amendment RESOLUTION NO. 30-96 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OIL NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT TO CONDUCT FOOD AND BEVF,RAGF. OPERATIONS AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB WITH ZELNIA, VAN 5CHAFFELAAR, PRICE, INC., A FLORIDA CORYORA7'lON, ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A", BY DELETING THE RF.QUIREMF.NT THAT LESSEE SERVE DINNER ON THURSDAY NIGHTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, F1.ORI DA; Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach does • hereby approve the Amendment to Lease Agreement to Conduct Food and Beverage Operations at the North Palm Beach Country Club with Zelnia, Van Schaffelaar, Price, Inc., attached as Exhibit "A", which Amendment is for the purpose of deleting the requirement that Lessee serve dinner on Thursday nights at the Country Club. Section 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Amendment to Lease Agreement with Zelnia, Van Schaffelaar, Price, Inc. set forth in Exhibit "A" for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach. Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th DAY OF APRIL, 1996. • (Village Seal) MAYOR VILLAGE CLERK AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT • TI-IIS AMENDMENT is to that certain Lease Agreement to conduct food and beverage operations at the North Palm Beach Country Club dated the 15th day of September, 1995, and entered into this 25TH day of APRIL, 1996, by and between the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a Florida municipal corporation, hereinafter called "VILLAGE", and ZELNIA, VAN SCHAFFELAAR, PRICE, INC., a Florida corporation, hereinafter called "LESSEE". WITNESETH: WHEREAS, VILLAGE and LESSEE are desirous of amending Section 3 C of the Lease Agreement by deleting that portion which requires LESSEE to serve Thursday night dinners from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. of each week. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the mutual benefits, • promises and agreements herein contained, it is agreed as follows: I. Section 3 C is hereby amended to read as follows: "C. The Lounge shall operate seven days a week and be open from 10 AM and close no earlier than 7 PM. Lunch will be served every day in the Lounge from 11 AM to 2:20 PM. From June 1 through September 30, LESSEE shall have the option to close on Mondays. The dining room shall be open every Tuesday and Wednesday for the men's and women's Golf Association Luncheons. The dining room shall remain open after women's Golf Association Luncheons on Wednesday for bridge and WGA activities until 4 PM. 2. All terms and provisions of the Lease Agreement between the parties that are not specifically in conflict with this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
