RESOLUTION NO. 55-95
A RESOLUTION OF THB VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, URGING THE PALM BEACH
COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION NOT TO
ACT AT ITS MBSTING SCHEDULED
DECEMBER 12, 1995, UPON THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION BY NORTHERN PALM BEACH
COUNTY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT OF
CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED WITHIN THE
MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGB OF
NORTH PALM BEACH IN ORDER TO PROVIDfi
THE VILLAGE WITH A REASONABLE
OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY AND REVIEW THE
PROPOSED ANNEXATION AND MAKE A
RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OR
DISAPPROVAL TO THB DELEGATION; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District
proposes to annex a parcel of land situate in Section 16, Township
42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida being all of
'Plat No. 2 Palm Beach Lake Worth Estates" as recorded in Plat Book
35, Pages 143 and 144 of the Official Records of said Palm Beach
County, Florida, which land is located within the incorporated
limits of the Village of North Palm Beach; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is scheduled to be heard and
acted upon by the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation at its
hearing scheduled December 12, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm

Beach has only recently become aware of the proposed annexation and
has not had a reasonable opportunity to review and study the
' proposal and. to make a reconanendation of approval or disapproval to
the delegation.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The village Council of the Village of North Palm
Beach, Florida, does hereby urge the Palm Beach County Legislative
Delegation not to act upon the proposed annexation by Northern Palm
Beach County Improvement District of the above-referenced lands
located within the incorporated limits of the Village at its
meeting scheduled December 12, 1995, in order that the Village has
a reasonable opportunity to study and review the proposec
annexation and to provide a recommendation of approval or
' disapproval to the delegation.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
