A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF LIBRARY SHELVING UNITS FOR THE VILLAGE LIBRARY
FROM R. GEORGE & ASSOCIATES, INC. PURSUANT TO PRICING
ESTABLISHED IN AN EXISTING PALM BEACH COUNTY CONTRACT;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Staff is requesting the purchase of shelving for the second floor of the Village
Library from R. George & Associates, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an existing Contract
with Palm Beach County for Furniture and Shelving, Library, Delivery and Installation (Contract
No. SS700172/KP); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of shelving for the second floor
of the Village Library from R. George & Associates, Inc. pursuant to pricing established in an
existing Contract with Palm Beach County for Furniture and Shelving, Library, Delivery and
Installation (Contract No. SS700172/KP). The total amount expended for this purchase shall not
exceed $113,220.90, with $103,844.71 expended from Account No. A7927-33160 (Library —
Donation Expense) and $9,376.19 expended from Account No. A7927-35243 (Library — Furniture,
Fixtures and Equipment).
