' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, DEDICATING THE 11TH HOLE OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH
COUNTRY CLUB GOLF COURSE LOCATED AT 951 U. S. HIGHWAY ONE, NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CONGRESSMAN TOM LEWIS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Tom F. Lewis provided the Village of North Palm Beach with exemplary and
dedicated service since 1964; and
WHEREAS, Tom Lewis served the Village of North Palm Beach from 1965 to 1971 as Mayor
of the Village; and
WHEREAS, Tom Lewis carried his commitment to the Village of North Palm Beach forward to
the Florida House of Representatives, the Florida Senate and the United States House of
Representatives from 1971 to 1995; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida,
to honor Tom Lewis by dedicating the 11th Hole at the North Palm Beach Country Club Golf
Course, in his honor.
' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach does hereby
dedicate the 11th Hole of the North Palm Beach Country Club Golf Course, located at
951 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida, in honor of former Mayor and Congressman
Tom Lewis.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby directs that a plaque be inscribed dedicating
the 11th Hole in honor of Tom Lewis, and that such plaque be permanently displayed in the
vicinity of the 11th Tee located at the North Palm Beach Country Club Golf Course.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER , 1995.
