RESOLUTION NO. 35-95
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, OPPOSING
THE PROPOSED CHANGE TO THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT
TAX ORDINANCE THAT WOULD REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF
BED TAX REVENUES FOR BEACH RENOURISHMSNT IN
PALM BEACH COUNTY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE VILLAGE CLERK TO FURNISH A CERTIFIED COPY
OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA;
AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
' County, Florida, is reviewing proposed changes to the Tourist
Development Tax Ordinance that would reduce the amount of bed tax
revenues for beach renourishment in Palm Beach County, Florida.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby oppose the proposed change to the
Tourist Development Tax Ordinance that would reduce the amount of
tax revenues for beach renourishment.
Section 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish a certified copy of this Resolution to the
' Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
