' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE
BID OF ARMENTO PAINTING & SONS, INC. OF WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CLEAN, PAINT
AND REPAIR THE CLUB HOUSE ROOF OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB IN THE
AMOUNT OF $7,895.00; FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM L8053-66210 (FOOD AND BEVERAGE
EXPENSES-CONSTRUCTION AND MAJOR RENOVATION).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Armento Painting & Sons, Inc., West Palm Beach, Florida, a copy of which
is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in
accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of
this acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. L8053-66210 (Food and Beverage
Expenses-Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

CLUBHOUSE ROOF CLEANING, PAINTING AND REPAIRS
NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB
SPECIFICATIONS
1. ENTIRE ROOF SHALL BE CHLORINATED AND PRESSURE CLEANED
WITH A MINIMUM PRESSURE OF 3000 PSI TO REMOVE ALL DIRT,
MILDEW, MOLD AND CHALKY COATINGS.
2. ALL BROKEN ROOF TILE SHALL BE REPLACED WITH NEW TILE TO
MATCH EXISTING. ALL LOOSE TILES SHALL BE REFASTENED. TILES
BROKEN OR MADE LOOSE DURING THE WORK SHALL ALSO BE REPAIRED.
REPAIR METHODS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MORTAR-SET
PROCEDURES AS APPROVED BY THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
3. MINIMUM OF ONE COAT 100$ ACRYLIC MILDEW RESISTANT ROOF
PAINT TO BE APPLIED BY ROLLER OR BRUSH (NOT SPRAYED) ON
ENTIRE TILED SURFACE.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL SURROUNDING AREAS.
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESTORATION OF ANY
DAMAGES THAT MIGHT OCCUR.
5. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VISITING THE SITE TO VERIFY
QUANTITIES AND TO VERIFY CONDITION OF THE ROOF PRIOR TO
SUBMITTING A BID. COORDINATE INSPECTIONS WITH MR. BILL
REINERT (407) 626-0212.
6. WORK HOURS ARE 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY. BUILDING TO REMAIN OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL WITH
FULL PUBLIC ACCESS.
7. ALL BIDS SHALL REMAIN OPEN FOR NINETY (90) DAYS AFTER THE
DAY OF BID OPENING. CONTRACTOR AGREES TO COMPLETE THE WORK
WITHIN 45 DAYS FOLLOWING NOTICE OF AWARD.
8. ALL WORK SHALL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL,
STATE AND LOCAL LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS.

The undersigned, as bidder, does declare that no other person other
than the bidder herein named has any interest in this proposal or
in the contract to be taken, and it is made without any connection
with any person or persons making proposal for the same article,
and is in all respects fair and without collusion or fraud.
The undersigned further declares that he has carefully examined the
specifications and is thoroughly familiar with its provisions and
with the quality, type and grade of material called for.
The undersigned further declares that he proposes to furnish the
articles called for within specified time set in this proposal.
BIDDER agrees to execute the agreement in strict accordance with
the Contract Documents in the full amount`of the Contract Price.
