' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE
BID OF ARMENTO PAINTING & SONS, INC. OF WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CLEAN AND
PAINT THE EXTERIOR OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,995.00; FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT L8053-66210 (FOOD AND BEVERAGE
EXPENSES-CONSTRUCTION AND MAJOR RENOVATION).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Armento Painting & Sons, Inc., West Palm Beach, Florida, a copy of which
is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in
accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of
this acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. L8053-66210 (Food and Beverage
Expenses-Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 8TH DAY OF JUNE , 1995.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. ALL EXTERIOR STUCCO SURFACES SHALL BE PRESSURE CLEANER
WITH A MINIMUM 3000 PSI PRESSURE CLEANER. THE ADDITION OF
CHLORINE AND/OR TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE SHALL BE USED AS NEEDED
TO REMOVE ALL DIRT, MOLD, MILDEW LOOSE AND CHALKY COATINGS.
ALL SURFACES SHALL BE THOROUGHLY FLUSHED WITH WATER.
2. ALL EXTERIOR STUCCO SURFACES SHALL RECEIVE ONE COAT
SURFACE CONDITIONER (TO BE APPROVED BY VILLAGE).
3. ALL CRACKS SHALL BE FILLED WITH EXTERIOR FLEXIBLE
PATCHING MATERIAL (TO BE APPROVED BY VILLAGE).
4. DEFECTIVE CAULKING AROUND WINDOWS SHALL BE REPLACED WITH
A SUITABLE CAULK COMPOUND (TO BE APPROVED BY VILLAGE).
5. APPLY ONE COAT EXTERIOR MILDEW RESISTANT ACRYLIC LATEX
PAINT, SATIN FINISH, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS SUPERPAINT OR APPROVED
EQUAL.
6. ALL EXTERIOR PAINTED METAL AND WOOD SURFACES INCLUDING
DOORS, FRAMES, SOFFITS, FACIA, DRIP EDGE, RAILINGS ETC. SHALL
BE SCRAPED OF ALL LOOSE MATERIAL. ALL SUCH SURFACES ARE TO
BE PRIMED AS NECESSARY. APPLY TWO COATS ALKYD ENAMEL PAINT,
GLOSS FINISH, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS OR APPROVED EQUAL.
