RESOLUTION NO. 28-95
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE
BID OF PAINTING BY JOHN CUSHMAN OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, TO CLEAN AND
PAINT THE EXTERIOR STUCCO SURFACES OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH COMMUNITY CENTER
IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,800.00; FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT A802834620
(RECREATION-R&M BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Painting by John Cushman of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a copy of which
is attached to this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in
accordance with its terms. The appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of
this acceptance. The monies are to be expended from Account No. A802834620 (Recreation-R&M Bldgs.
and Grounds).
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. ALL EXTERIOR STUCCO SURFACBS SHALL BE PRESSURE CLEANEa
WITH A MINIMUM 3000 PSI PRESSURB CLEANER. THB ADDITION OF
CHLORINE AND/OR TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE SHALL BE USED AS NEEDED
TO REMOVE ALL DIRT, MOLD, MILDEW, LOOSE AND CHALKY COATINGS.
ALL SURFACES SHALL BE THOROUGHLY FLUSHED WITH WATER.
2. ALL EXTERIOR STUCCO SURFACBS SHALL RECEIVE ONE COAT
SURFACE CONDITIONER (TO BE APPROVED HY VILLAGE).
3. ALL CRACKS SHALL BE FILLED WITH BXTERIOR FLEXIBLE
PATCHING MATERIAL (TO BE APPROVED BY VILLAGE).
4. DEFECTIVE CAULKING AROUND WINDOWS SHALL BE REPLACED WITH
A SUITABLE CAULK COMPOUND (TO BE APPROVED BY VILLAGE).
5. APPLY ONE COAT EXTERIOR MILDEW RESISTANT ACRYLIC LATEX
PAINT, SATIN FINISH, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS SUPERPAINT OR APPROVED
EQUAL.

The undersigned, as bidder, does declare that no other person other
than the bidder herein named has any interest in this proposal or
in the contract to be taken, and it is made without any connection
with any person or persons making proposal for the same article,
and is in all respects fair and without collusion or fraud.
The undersigned further declares that he has carefully examined the
specifications and ie thoroughly familiar with its provisions and
with the quality, type and grade of material called for.
The undersigned further declares that he proposes to furnish the
articles called for within specified time set in this proposal.
BIDDER agrees to execute the agreement in strict accordance with
the Contract Documents in the full amount of the Contract Price.
