RESOLUTION NO. 1-95
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, FILLING THE VACANCY IN THE COUNCIL IN GROUP 2 CREATED
BY THE RESIGNATION OF JEFFREY H. ATWATER THAT WAS MADE EFFECTIVE
NOVEMBER 7, 1994; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Jeffrey H. Atwater has created a vacancy in the Village Council in
Group 2 by reason of having filed a resignation as Council person effective November
7, 1994;
WHEREAS, Section 5 (c) of Article III of the Charter of the Village of North Palm
Beach provides a procedure for filling a vacancy in the Village Council by a majority
vote of the remaining members of Council when less than six (6) months remain in the
unexpired term, or if there are less than six (6) months, before the next regular Village
election.
WHEREAS, there are less than six (6) months remaining in the unexpired term
from the effective date of resignation, and there are less than six 16) months before
the next regular Village election.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
' FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach does hereby
fill the unexpired portion of term of Jeffrey H. Atwater in Group 2 by appointing the
following person:
Paul D. Moore
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect January 13, 1995.

I am not directly or indirectly pecuniarily interested in any public service corporation
engaged in business in the Village of North Palm Beach, or in or with any person or
corporation having contracts with said Village, so help me God.
