R2022-26 Blanket Purchase Order for Dumpster RepairsRESOLUTION 2022-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WITH GT SUPPLIES, INC. IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $5000 FOR DUMPSTER REPAIRS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket purchase orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the Village previously issued a blanket purchase order to GT Supplies, Inc. for $25,000, and Village Staff requested an additional $25,000 for a total of $50,000 for the current fiscal year; and WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $25,000 require approval by the Village Council; and WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests of the Village and its residents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows: Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein. Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of an additional blanket purchase order to GT Supplies, Inc. in the amount of $25,000 (for a total estimated expenditure of $50,000 for Fiscal Year 2022), with funds expended from Account No. A7020-35217 (Public Works/Sanitation — Machinery & Equipment Supplies).
