A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AP-
PROVING THE DESIGNATION OF BRUCE F. SEKERES,
PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR, TO EXERCISE POWERS
AND PERFORM DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE MANAGER
DURING HIS TEMPORARY ABSENCE OR DISABILITY:
AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 4 of Article IV of the Charter of
the Village requires the Village Manager to designate, sub-
ject to approval of the Village Council, a qualified village
administrative officer to exercise the powers and perform the
duties of the manager during his temporary absence or disability;
and
WHEREAS, the Village Manager has designated Bruce F.
Sekeres, Public Safety Director, to exercise the powers and per-
form the duties of manager duing his temporary absence or dis-
ability; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that Bruce F.
Sekeres is a qualified village administrative officer to exer-
cise powers and perform duties of manager during his absence or
disability.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of
North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby approve Bruce F. Sekeres,
Public Safety Director, to exercise the powers and perform the
' duties of the Village Manager during his temporary absence or
disability.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect im-
mediately upon its adoption.
