RESOLUTION NO. 36-94
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING THANKS TO PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER DAVID
LOONAN FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE YOUTH OF NORTH PALM BEACH DURING
THE 1994 LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL SECTION 2 TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach was the host city for the 1994
Little League Baseball Section 2 Tournament for District winners from Dade
County to Brevard County, and
WHEREAS, David Loonan, a Public Safety Officer and resident of the
Village of North Palm Beach, was the Director of the Little League Baseball
Sectional Tournament, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of North Palm Beach recognizes the time and
effort that David Loonan has given to the youth of North Palm Beach and the
Little League of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Village Council of North Palm Beach extends a
unanimous vote of thanks to David Loonan; and
Section 2. That this resolution be formally presented to David Loonan as
public acknowledgement of his dedication as a volunteer in providing leadership
in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation.
