RESOLUTION No. 29_94
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
DEDICATING THE PUBLIC SERVICES BUILDING
LOCATED AT 645 PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD, NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, TO CHARLES R. O'MEILIA
WITH THE BUILDING HENCEFORTH TO BE KNOWN AS
"THE CHARLES R. O'MEILIA BUILDING"; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Charles R. O'Meilia has provided the Village of North
Palm Beach with exemplary and dedicated service for over twenty-
five (25) consecutive years; and
WHEREAS, Charles R. O'Meilia throughout his tenure with the
Village of North Palm Beach has exhibited professionalism and
expertise in serving as the Public Services Director of the Village
and in various other capacities including the coordination and
administration of various Village boards, and coordination and
advancement of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, Charles R. O'Meilia has served on various occasions
as acting Village Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm
Reach is desirous of honoring Charles R. O'Meilia and providing a
dedication so that the name Charles R. O'Meilia will henceforth be
known and observed by Village residents.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section ].. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm

Beacl,does hereby dedicate the Public Services Building located at
' 645. Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, Florida, to Charles R.
O'Meilia, and such building shall henceforth be known as "The
Charles R. O'Meilia Building".
Section 2. The Village Council hereby directs that a plaque
be inscribed with the words "The Charles R. O'Meilia Building" and
that such plaque be permanently affixed to the front of the Public
Services Building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2Ath DAY OF _,]Llv 1994.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
