A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, SELECTING AND DESIGNATING
THE FIRM OF CODY AND ASSOCIATES,
COCOA, FLORIDA, TO CONDUCT A SALARY
SURVEY AND PAY CLASSIFICATION STUDY
FOR A CONSORTIUM OF MUNICIPALITIES
INCLUDING THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH; PROVIDING THAT THE COST TO
THE VILLAGE FOR SUCH STUDY SHALL NOT
EXCEED SPECIFIED AMOUNTS; PROVIDING
THAT THE FIRM SELECTED BY THE
CONSORTIUM OF MUNICIPALITIES TO
CONDUCT THE SURVEY SUBMIT A CONTRACT
TO THE VILLAGE FOR ITS CONSIDERATION
AND SIGNATURE; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the municipalities of Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens,
' Juno Beach, and North Palm Beach are desirous of forming a
consortium for purposes of selecting a firm to conduct a salary
survey and pay classification study; and
WHEREAS, the proposed survey would be in two phases with a
basic salary survey common to all four municipalities in Phase I
with Phase II to include specific recommendations for each
municipality on various pay scales and salary policies.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm
Beach, Florida, does hereby select and designate the firm of
Cody and Associates, Cocoa, Florida, to conduct a salary survey and
pay classification study for a consortium of municipalities
t including the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida.
Section 2. That the cost to the Village of North Palm Beach
shall not exceed the sum of $ 2,500.00 for Phase I of the study
and shall not exceed the sum of $3,500.00 for Phase II of the
sa)ary survey and pay classification study.
Section 3. The firm selected by the consortium of
municipalities to conduct the salary survey and pay classification
study shall submit a contract to the Village for its consideration
and signature.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
