�., A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
( PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A FINE SCHEDULE AND DELINQUENT
FEE FOR PARKING CITATIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-02 on January 13, 2022, the Village Council
adopted additional regulations applicable to parking, stopping and standing within the Village and updated
the procedure requirements for the issuance of parking citations; and
WHEREAS, Section 18-38 of the Village Code now provides that with the exception of parking in spaces
designated for the physically disabled (for which the fine is $250.00), the Village Council shall adopt a fine
schedule and delinquent fee for all parking citations, including citations issued for violations applicable to
the boat launching area at Anchorage Park; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the interests of the
public health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby adopts the following fine schedule and delinquent fee for
parking citations within the Village:

Delinquent Fee:
$25.00

Fine for Violations of Village Code Section $50.00 (first violation)
5-33 or 5-35 (Boat Launching Area): $100.00 (any subsequent violation)
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
