A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF
ONE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX (196) NOURS
OF EARNED ANNUAL LEAVE ACCUMULATED
BY CHARLES R. O'MEILIA, DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC SERVICES, AS OF OCTOBER 1,
1993; PROVIDING A PROCEDURE FOR
PAYMENT OF THE EARNED ANNUAL LEAVE;
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Charles R. O'Meilia, Director of Public
Services, of the Village of North Palm Beach, has accumulated one
' hundred ninety-six (196) hours of earned annual leave down to
October 1, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that the involvement
of Charles R. O'Meilia in various and ongoing projects within the
Village has contributed to the inability of Charles R. O'Meilia to
utilize one hundred ninety-six (196) hours of earned annual leave;
and
WHEREAS,
payment to Charles

BE IT R
' BEACH, FLORIDA:
the Village Council is desirous of authorizing
R. O'Meilia for said unused one hundred ninety-
earned annual leave in the manner set forth in
:SOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby authorize the payment of one
hundred ninety-six (196) hours of earned annual leave accumulated
by Charles R. O'Meilia, Director of Public Services, as of October
1, 1993.
Section 2. Payment of one hundred ninety-six (196) hours

of earned annual leave shall be made to Charles R. O'Meilia upon
his retirement from the Village in equal, weekly installments
commencing one (1) week subsequent to the retirement of Charles R.
O'Meilia and continuing each consecutive week thereafter until the
accumulated earned annual leave is paid in full. Each weekly
installment shall be the weekly amount paid to Charles R. O'Meilia
prior to his retirement.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of.resoluti.ons in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
