A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE V7I,LAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ENAORSING AND SUPPORTING., THE
COMMUNITY BASED PROSECUTION PROGRAM OF BARRY E. KRISCHER,
STATE ATTORNEY FOR THE FIFTEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF
FLORIDA IN AND FOR PALM BEACH COLiNTY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHF.RF,AS, the criminal justice system is an essential element.
to a good prosperous community; and
' WHEREAS, the criminal justice systems sur.cess in dea]ing with
crime must include organized law enforcement, prosecution and the
community; and
WHEREAS, community based prosecution brings together law
enforcement, prosecution and the community to attack crime i.n its
midst; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of community haled pro<:ecutior,
requires an administrative order from the judiciary.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, endorses and supports the c..ommunity based
prosecution program of Rarry E. Krischer, State Attorney for the
' Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of .Florida in and for Palm Beach County.

Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, requests the Chief Judge of the Fifteenth
Judicial Circuit to enter an admi.nistr.ative order implementing the
community based prosecution program in the Fifteenth Judici.a]
Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 3. This Resolution shall +.ake effect immediately
upon i.t.s adoption.
