RESOLUTION 49-92
A RESOLUTION OF THS VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
URGING STATE LEGISLATURE TO AMEND "CODS ENFORCEMENT BOARD" STATUTE
SO AS TO ALLOW SUBSTITUTED SERVICE ON SECRETARY OF STATE FOR
NONRESIDENT VIOLATORS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council urges the State Legislature of

the State of Florida to enact legislation amending Chapter 162,
Part I, Florida Statutes, relating to Local Government Code
Enforcement Boards, so ae to authorize substituted service on the
Secretary of State, as agent for a nonresident alleged violator, in
a manner similar to that currently authorized pursuant to Sections
48.161, 48.171 and 48.181, Florida Statutes.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
