1992-01 Declares Results of Special Referendum Election 1-6-1992' RESOLUTION NO. 1-92
A RESOLUTION OF THS VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THS SPECIAL REFERENDUM ELECTION
HELD ON JANUARY 6, 1992.
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of January, 1992, a Special Referendum
Election was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, for
the purpose of referring Ordinances 29-91 and 32-91, establishing
Planned Unit Developments known as Prosperity Harbor North and
Prosperity Harbor South, respectively, to the voters of the Village
of North Palm Beach to determine if said Ordinances should be
repealed; and
WHEREAS, by due Resolution the following named persona were
appointed inspectors, clerks and deputies of said Special
Referendum Election:
North Palm Beach Community Center - Precincts 34 and 53:

WHEREAS, on January 6, 1992, said inspectors, clerks and
deputies, after taking and subscribing their oaths in accordance
with law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns
certified that the total count of ballots cast, including absentee
ballots, is 2,460.
For the repeal of Ordinance No. 29-91 1,172 votes
Against the repeal of Ordinance No. 29-91 1,245 votes
For the repeal of Ordinance No. 32-91 1,143 votes
Against the repeal of Ordinance No. 32-91 1,254 votes
and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of
said Special Referendum Election and find that the returns of the
inspectors, clerks and deputies of said election are true and
correct tabulations of the votes cast;
NOW, THERBFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the

January 6, 1992:

Against the repeal of Ordinance No. 29-91
For the repeal of Ordinance No. 32-91
Against the repeal of Ordinance No. 32-91
1,172 votes
1,245 votes
1,143 votes
1,254 votes
Section 2. The Village Council finds that a majority of the
qualified electors of the Village votlnq on Ordinance 29-91 voted
for such Ordinance, and Ordinance 29-91 shall not be considered
repealed.
section 3. The village Council finds that a majority of the
qualified electors of the Village voting on Ordinance 32-91 voted
for such Ordinance, and Ordinance 32-91 shall not be considered
repealed.
section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
