A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF
ACCUMULATED VACATION TIME THAT EXCEEDS TWO (2)
YEARS FOR ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE TO
OCTOBER 1, 1991; PROVIDING FOR EMPLOYEES WHO
RECEIVE PAYMENT OF ACCUMULATED VACATION TIME TO
EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO THE VILLAGE AN ACCEPTANCE
AND RELEASE FORM; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach,
Florida does hereby authorize and direct payment of accumulated
' vacation time that exceeds two
Village to October 1, 1991, (2) years for all employees of the

attached to th is Resolution and expressly made a part hereof. One-
half (1/2) of the amount shown due shall be paid to each employee
specified in Exhibit "A" prior to September 30, 1992; one-half
(1/2) of the amount shown due shall be paid to each employee
between January 15, 1993 and February 1, 1993.
Section 2. If any employee specified in Exhibit "A"
attached is terminated or dies prior to receiving full payment of
the accumulated vacation time, then the full amount due such
employee shall be paid forthwith to the employee or the personal
representative appointed to the Estate of the deceased employee,
whichever is applicable.
' Section 3. Each employee who is to receive payment of
accumulated vacation time shall first execute an agreement provided
by the Village wherein the employee accepts the form of payment and
' the proposed amount as full payment for accumulated vacation time
down to October 1, 1991, and releases the Village from liability
upon payment being made.
Section 4. All employees specified in Exhibit "A"
attached shall have the right to carry over their respective hours
shown in Exhibit "A" under the columns "Hours Crdt'd 10/1/91" and
"Hours for 89/90" until September 30, 1993. If such hours are not
used by September 30, 1993, they are lost and shall not be
compensable.
Section 5. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Se ion 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
' upon its adoption.
