1991-06 Notice of General Election 3/12/1991' RESOLUTION NO. 6-91 A RESOLUTION OF THS VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THS GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 12, 1991; NAMING THS TIME AND PLACE WHSRS SUCH ELECTION SHALL BE HELD; APPOINTING THS ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THS GENBRAL ELECTION AND RUNOFF ELECTION; DECLARING THS OFFICES TO BS FILLED AT SUCH ELECTION. wHSRBAS, The Charter of the Village provides for a general election to be held on the second Tuesday in March of each year; and WHEREAS, there are two offices to be filled at the general election to be held in the Village on the second Tuesday in March, 1991; NOW, THBRSFORS, BE IT RESOLVED BY THS VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That a general election shall be held, and is hereby declared to be held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the 12th day of March, 1991, for the purpose of electing members to the Village Council to fill such offices in Groups 2 and 4, for ' a period of two years each. Section 2. Contained in the notice set forth hereafter are the persons who are hereby appointed as clerks, inspectors and deputies for the general election to be held on March 12, 1991. The Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause a notice of said election to be published in the Palm Beach Post once at least fifteen days prior to said election. Said notice shall be substantially in the following form: NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION MARCH 12, 1991 TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS RESIDING IN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA: By order of the Village Council of the village of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, notice is hereby given that a general election will be held in said Village on the 12th day of March, 1991, for the purpose of electing councilmen for the following offices, to wit: Village Councilman, Group 2 (2-year term) 1 Village Councilman, Group 4 said election will be held in the Village and the polling places are designated as North Center, Precincts 34 and 53; Faith Lutheran Council Chambers of Village Hall, Precinct (2-year term) of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Community Church, Precinct 48; 49; Old Port Cove Recreation Room between the North and South Quay Buildings, ' Precinct 50; and Blks' Lodge No. 2069, Precinct 52. The polls will be open in the voting places from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The following inspectors, deputies and clerks have been designated and appointed by the Village Council for the purpose of conducting said election: North Palm Beach Community Center - Precincts 34 and 53: Clerks: Margaret L. Section 6. The Village Council shall hold a meeting on the 13th day of March, 1991 for the purpose of canvassing the returns and declaring the results of said election. Section 7.
