A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE FROM
THOR GUARD, INC. TO UPDATE, REPLACE AND PROVIDE AN
ADDITIONAL REMOTE LOCATION FOR THE WEATHER ALERT SYSTEM
AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Thor Guard, Inc. has submitted a proposal to update, replace and provide an additional
remote location for the weather alert system at the North Palm Beach Country Club; and
WHEREAS, because the Village will be using parts of the current Thor Guard system, this is a sole
source purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves a sole source purchase from Thor Guard, Inc. to
update, replace and provide an additional remote location for the weather alert system at the North
Palm Beach Country Club at a total cost of $29,240.00, with funds expended from Account No.
L8046-66490 (Golf — Machinery and Equipment).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
